Important Changes to the
2020 RiverWalk for Cancer

For years our ProHealth Care Walks for Cancer have been a symbol of hope and support for our community. We have walked in rain, wind, sleet and sunshine, always with the same goal in mind, to support services for cancer patients.

We know that for many, concerns about COVID-19, commonly referred to as the coronavirus, are top of mind. The safety of our patients and our community remains the top priority for us. While much remains unknown about the COVID-19 virus, we want to be vigilant. We also recognize that many of our Walks participants and their families are part of the most susceptible audience to this virus.

To promote the safety and well-being of our participants, the 2020 RiverWalk for Cancer will be held as a unified, virtual event with ParkWalk for Cancer and LakeWalk for Cancer. In lieu of large gatherings in three communities, we welcome you to walk with your closest supporters in a location that’s safe for you.  Whether from your home, neighborhood, or favorite trails, you can tune in digitally to hear messages of hope and encouragement from our ambassadors and cancer specialists.  The program and festivities held at Frame Park have been cancelled, but we hope you will still walk, support cancer services and join us digitally. Please visit our Frequently Asked Questions page for more details about what to expect with this virtual walk.

We will extend our early bird pricing through May 31, allowing you to register for the virtual Walk for just $25 by check and $20 online.

To honor the governor’s #SaferAtHome mandate through May 26, we are pleased to announce this year's t-shirts will be mailed to our registered participants. Please stay tuned for specific details related to the timing.

The Walks for Cancer remain a significant part of our community, and an important fundraising component for the cancer services we provide. We hope that despite this year’s event changes, you will still unite with us to support cancer prevention, treatment and research.  You can continue to fundraise and earn incentives through your outreach.

Watch for more important updates via our website, as well as through email and our Facebook page.

If you would prefer a refund rather than participating in the virtual event, please contact us at 262-928-9255 or via email.

Walk to Care. Walk to Cure.

Chances are cancer has touched your life in some way. Nearly 40% of adults will face a cancer diagnosis at some point in their life.

Together we can make a difference for our friends, family members and neighbors whose lives are forever changed by the words "you have cancer."

Partipants at LakeWalk, ParkWalk and RiverWalk join together for one purpose, to make a difference in the lives of our neighbors, friends and family as they face a cancer diagnosis.
